Lhasa Apsos need to be with their people, and are good dogs with which to travel. This breed can live in an apartment if it gets enough activity and is walked every day.

Lhasa Apso Trivia: The Lhasa Apso was once used as a monastery watchdog. Tibet is the country of origin for the Lhasa Apso. Lhasa Apsos only belonged to Tibetan royals and holy men for thousands of years.
