Rescue Me ID: 16-09-10-00419Nina (female)
* Please apply online at www.6dogrees.com by doing so you will get a response quicker. Meet Nina! I am a 5-year old, 15-pound, spayed female Lhasa apso mix, and my adoption fee is $595. I am very a special girl, and on my way to beautiful. I have a sweet laid back personality, and want nothing more than to be loved and sleep on the foot of your bed. When I was rescued, I was not in the best of health and since I have been on a good diet sprinkled with lots of love, I am flourishing. I am very easy to have around. I like dogs of all sizes, like cats, and LOVE people. I wiggle with such delight when you walk through the door, I will warm your heart. I am potty trained and potty-pad trained (I am from the desert, and just now learning about rain, so potty pads are my preferences as I am not sure what that wet stuff is falling on my head). I am crate trained, and will not make a peep when I am in my crate - although I would love to sleep on your bed and keep your toes warm. I like to play and run with other dogs, and I come when I am called - I am very well behaved. My foster family think I am a doll. My adoption fee is $595. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt. I am fostered North of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval. Nina is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying. Ideally Nina should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Applications accepted online at 6dogrees.com Adoption fee include: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'Save it forward'; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-11-00507Little Ann (female)
Little Ann was born in my house she has lived with us her entire life. However, we have to relocate to Southern California and we can not bring her along. Little Ann would be great for an older person because she is very snuggly laid back. Or anyone for that matter. She has had two back surgeries to correct a disc issue. The last one was in 2011. She is fully recovered and according to the neurologist surgeon has no problems at all. She is a very happy dog and just likes hanging around the house and operate on squeaky toys. Those darn squeakers need to be destroyed. lol

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-09-00287Big Dan (male)
Big Dan is a very sweet boy who is very submissive. All he would love to do is lay on someone's lab and snuggle all day long. He has no problems health wise except for his teeth are in bad shape . Otherwise he is great. He acts like a snuggly bear and is usually very happy go lucky. He would be great for an older person to just sit with and snuggle lots.

Lhasa Apso Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Lhasa Apso is a darling long haired lap dog. Lhasa Apsos have a loud bark and make good watchdogs. Lhasa Apsos are friendly, but do not like to be teased by children. Lhasa Apsos are best suited to homes where they are the only pet, and need a firm master. Lhasa Apsos need to be with their people, and are good dogs with which to travel. This breed can live in an apartment if it gets enough activity and is walked every day.
