|Animal ID: 14-08-24-00195Samira 'Sammi' (female)|
[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Sammi is looking for a new home as I am relocating at the end of September and cannot take her or her 'brother'. While I would love to place both dogs in the same home, I am finding that is a challenge. Sammi is 9 years old, daschund/lhasa Apso mix. She is spayed, micro-chipped and current on all shots. Her vet records can be transferred to a new owner. Sami has a very loving personality, average energy. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and has been spoiled. She currently lives in a house where she has a huge yard so she doesn't socialize with many other dogs except for her 'brother'. She has never shown aggression towards cats but she does bark at the neighborhood ones. She loves blankets right out of the dryer, sitting in the window watching activity outside. Sammi does have an occasional seizure but is currently not on medication as they don't happen very often. Due to her floppy ears, they need to be cleaned every week or she will get ear infections. Lhasa Apso Dogs can make good pets in Oregon if they match your IifestyIe. The Lhasa Apso is a darling long haired lap dog. Lhasa Apsos have a loud bark and make good watchdogs. Lhasa Apsos are friendly, but do not like to be teased by children. Lhasa Apsos are best suited to homes where they are the only pet, and need a firm master. Lhasa Apsos need to be with their people, and are good dogs with which to travel. This breed can live in an apartment if it gets enough activity and is walked every day.
