|Rescue Me ID: 15-09-19-00075Memphis (male)|
Memphis is a very low key dog. Sleeps most of the day with a few burts for play during the day. Loves to chase a tennis ball but only a few times. :) He gets along great with other animals and is very socialized. We rescued him 6.5 years ago, he was 3 months old. I have been a stay at home mom for as long as we've had him but A little over a year ago I went back to work. We have had some potty behavioral issues lately due to my frequent schedule change. (He's been potty trained since a pup, but recently is acting out by pooping and marking in my living room.). While he does ok for short periods of time in the crate, He does not do well with being crated all day and it just breaks my heart. We have two cats that he gets along with and two kids that he has grown up with. It is heartbreaking to even consider giving him up to a new home but I feel it would be best for him to be with someone who is home more than away. Whether a retired couple or a family with a stay at home parent. He will come with his dog bed, toys whatever food and treats I have left. He is due for his Distemper shot and heartworm check being needed this spring, I have only asked for $150 rehoming fee. I can provide all vet records. I just want to make sure he goes to a very loving and secure home to enjoy the rest of of his life. (Less)

Lhasa Apso Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Lhasa Apso is a darling long haired lap dog. Lhasa Apsos have a loud bark and make good watchdogs. Lhasa Apsos are friendly, but do not like to be teased by children. Lhasa Apsos are best suited to homes where they are the only pet, and need a firm master. Lhasa Apsos need to be with their people, and are good dogs with which to travel. This breed can live in an apartment if it gets enough activity and is walked every day.
